Job Advertisement: Kitchen Assistant
The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transportation.
The Luleå area is the northernmost region of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and includes the prisons in Luleå and Haparanda as well as the detention center in Luleå. The largest professional group is prison officers, but we also have healthcare professionals, administrative staff, educators, production leaders, and more. In the prisons, the inmates are engaged in education, various treatment programs, or wood production. You can easily reach the Luleå prison and detention center by public transport, and if you drive, you can park in our staff parking. The Haparanda prison is a five-minute walk from Haparanda station.
