Hotel Storforsen is a unique destination located by one of Europe's largest waterfalls! Here, guests are met with tranquility, adventure, and personal service with a focus on quality and care. We welcome private guests, conferences, and groups year-round, always striving to deliver an experience matching four-star standards.

The hotel comprises 145 hotel rooms, 27 cottages, a padel hall, 90 camping pitches, a service building, a chapel, a grill hut, and the well-known Raimo's Bar.

The Position

As a receptionist at Hotel Storforsen, you play a central role in the overall guest experience. You are the first person our guests meet and the last they see before they leave.

The role of receptionist is a vital part of ensuring we deliver service in line with our ambition for four-star standards. You lead the daily service work, have an eye for detail, and actively work to create both satisfied guests and good results.

The position involves:

• Welcoming guests at check-in and check-out
• Handling bookings, changes, and cancellations
• Answering phone and email inquiries, addressing guest questions
• Providing service and resolving guest inquiries and potential issues
• Handling payments, invoicing, and cashier duties
• Collaborating with other departments (housekeeping, kitchen, restaurant)
• Ensuring the reception is welcoming and representative
• Working with upselling of rooms, activities, or add-ons
• Welcoming and taking care of conference groups
• Handling administrative tasks
• Following routines regarding safety and service quality

We are looking for someone who is self-reliant, initiative-driven, and confident in making independent decisions, while also being a team player who contributes to a positive work environment. You have good structure and are motivated to deliver top-class service – every day.

The position is a permanent employment at 75% capacity.
