With us, you will have a unique opportunity to influence one of the most important areas within People – Compensation & Benefits. We are looking for an experienced and driven specialist with a proven ability to independently lead and develop various forms of incentive programs in large organizations. You will be the obvious expert in the field and are expected to take overall responsibility for driving the work forward, from strategy to implementation.
Currently, we are driving several exciting and challenging initiatives: we are implementing a common job architecture for the entire group, preparing for the pay transparency directive, and developing our benefits offering to strengthen both our Employer Brand and EVP. As Head of Compensation & Benefits, you will be a key player leading the transformation towards a more data-driven and transparent compensation culture.
The People organization consists of about 25 people within Talent & Growth, People Operations, Tech & Analytics, and People Partnering. We are a close-knit, forward-leaning team that constantly challenges each other and our ways of working to become even better. We work across the entire NOBA group; Bank Norwegian, Nordax Bank, and Svensk Hypotekspension, with a total of nearly 700 employees. As Head of Compensation & Benefits, you report directly to the CHRO and are an adjunct member of the People organization's management team, where you are expected to contribute to overall strategy and priorities.
About the role:
You will have the strategic and operational overall responsibility for NOBA's compensation strategy and benefits offering. Your work ensures that we attract, engage, and retain top talent through competitive and future-proof compensation structures. The role requires you to be accustomed to working independently, taking your own initiatives, and driving development in a complex and changing environment.
Compensation: Responsible for LTIP programs and other incentive and compensation programs, support to the compensation committee, development of the benefits offering, and management of external providers in the Comp&Ben area.
Annual processes: Drive salary reviews, gender equality analysis, and benchmarking, develop job architecture, and support and educate leaders and employees on compensation-related issues.
Compliance: Ensure compliance, manage audits and documentation for annual reports, and collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and People Operations.
We are looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving development, and finding data-driven solutions. You are comfortable working independently in a changing environment, build trust with various stakeholders, and have both integrity and sensitivity in handling sensitive information.
In addition, we are looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of solid experience in Compensation & Benefits, preferably in leading and independent roles
- Has experience independently administering and developing incentive programs, pensions, insurance, and benefits structures.
- Has a good understanding of HR data, benchmarking analyses, and job architecture.
- Has excellent skills in both Swedish and English.
It is a significant advantage if you also have:
- Knowledge of GDPR & EBA's compensation guidelines
- Experience from the financial sector and/or listed companies in strong growth
- Experience in Comp & Ben from various types of organizations
