RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant, you will provide care and support as well as delegated health and medical care tasks to customers with cognitive disorders. You will be offered a varied job with care interventions, service interventions, activities, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff. The job also includes being a contact person and holding one or more areas of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant with an approved care program or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. We would also like you to have dementia training.

Since communication and documentation are part of your tasks, you need to have experience with documentation and computers, master Swedish, and be able to express yourself in speech and writing.

You should be confident in yourself and highly value good encounters with everyone you meet in your work. You should have a good ability to work both independently and together with others. Being unpretentious by offering your help and asking for the same from colleagues to create a team spirit is essential.

OTHER

The Social Care Administration's operations are aimed at the elderly and people who need functional support as well as those in need of home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, national gymnasium, and assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
