ABOUT THE POSITION

Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant is one of the largest electricity producers in Sweden, generating one-sixth of the electricity consumed in Sweden. Here you have a unique opportunity to develop as a mechanical engineer in mechanical maintenance if you have an interest in the energy sector. This position is aimed at those who see themselves building a career in nuclear power and growing at Forsmark.

The group you will join is an engineering group that supports Forsmark in engineering issues regarding mechanical maintenance. The group consists of four areas: turbines, vibrations, outer areas, and pumps, which you will belong to. In this role, you will work with the pumps for the nuclear power plants' main processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the maintenance of pumps and pump systems
• Establish and update maintenance instructions
• Plan long-term and short-term maintenance actions
• Conduct analyses and assessments of component lifetimes
• Write system health reports and damage reports

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as required for communication and documentation

The position is security classified, which means that a security clearance will be conducted before employment. The security clearance includes a background check and security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act. In addition to the security clearance, a drug test will be conducted.
