Are you a playful and engaged assistant who is passionate about helping children and young people who need extra support in their daily lives? Then this job is for you! We are looking for both an assistant for a 75% position and someone who can strengthen the team as needed.

Our client is a positive and curious 13-year-old boy living in Märsta with his family. He has a lot of childlike spirit and enjoys swinging, jumping on a trampoline, and going for outdoor walks in a wheelchair. He needs a lot of help, support, and guidance in his daily life, where you as an assistant will be with him every step of the way.

Role and Experience of the Assistant

As an assistant to our client, it is important that you are confident in yourself, calm, responsible, patient, and meticulous. It is highly appreciated if you still have a childlike spirit and can share yourself. If you have experience with alternative communication or sign language, that is a big plus but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are positive, curious, and eager to learn new things! If you are the right person, we will train you in tactile sign language. Personal suitability is very important, as well as being responsible and having good communication with everyone around you.

Desirable Experiences

• Smoke and perfume-free
• Experience in care and support
• Previous experience working as a personal assistant/working with children
• Experience or interest in tactile sign language/alternative communication
• It is important that you can read and speak Swedish fluently
• Experience with epilepsy and tube feeding (PEG)

Employment Rate

• Start as soon as possible.
• Part-time position 75%
• We are also looking for someone who can work extra hours as needed during the regular assistant's sick leave and vacation.
