The Authority for Persons with Disabilities is part of the Care Office in Södertälje Municipality. The Care Office consists of both a regulatory part and an executing organization within the areas of elderly care and disability services. We are now looking for an LSS case officer for the Authority for Persons with Disabilities.

The Authority for Persons with Disabilities consists of a unit manager, four team leaders, 25 LSS case officers, and two contact secretaries. We also have collegial learning as part of the introduction, where employees with extended delegation train new hires in the various assistance assessments under the Social Services Act [SoL] and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons [LSS].

At the authority, you also have the opportunity to participate and be active in various competence-enhancing forums, and you will be an important part of the authority's development.

We use the operational system Pulsen Combine and have the individual's needs at the center [IBIC] as our working method.

Your tasks

Do you want to work as an LSS case officer?

We are looking for someone interested in working with persons with disabilities. The tasks of an LSS case officer include informing, investigating, and making decisions according to the delegation order in individual cases under SoL or LSS, as well as following up on granted services. In the role of LSS case officer, you will also collaborate with various activities, such as children and youth, social psychiatry, substance abuse, the region, and schools. Therefore, we appreciate if you are innovative, have good communication skills, and are good at collaborating. As an LSS case officer, you are also expected to be part of the improvement work at our authority.

Who are you?

You are stress-resistant, flexible in thought and action, have good collaboration skills while being independent and proactive. You are good at structure and planning and can handle demands from the environment while fulfilling the assignment.

- You are meticulous and structured

Requirements:
- Degree in social work or another university or college education that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Work experience in regulatory activities within LSS and/or SoL
- Good computer skills
- Proficient in Swedish in both spoken and written form and have good documentation skills

Meritorious:
- Driver's license.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization
- Experience working with persons with disabilities and knowledge of regulatory activities for the target group
- Experience working in the operational system Pulsen Combine
