Have you worked as a leader before and enjoy the role? Our group leader for our reception group has taken on a new position within the department, and we are now looking for her replacement for our dedicated reception group.

Currently, five social workers and two assistants work in the reception, focusing on the investigation and assessment of financial assistance. Your main responsibilities will include coaching and supporting the caseworkers, leading and distributing work, and working with the unit manager to ensure that the work in the unit is conducted as knowledge-based, legally secure, and efficiently as possible. You will also assist the unit manager with materials for salary and employee discussions, as you are the one closest to the caseworkers in their daily work. No day in the reception is the same, and you need to enjoy not always knowing what will happen and be able to adapt based on needs.

Qualifications

As a group leader, we want you to have:

• A degree in social work or another higher education where social law is included, which we assess as equivalent.
• Extensive experience working with financial assistance
• Very good knowledge of applicable legislation

We also want you to have previous leadership experience, and if you have training in leadership, that is certainly an advantage.

As a person, we want you to be structured, secure, and enjoy working with reception tasks. We also want you to quickly sort and prioritize what needs to be done and that you are attentive, flexible, take your own initiatives for improvements, and can work independently. You also need to have good collaboration skills as this is crucial for achieving common goals and creating a productive and pleasant workplace.
