Hagaskolan is a K-9 school that offers a safe school experience with high expectations, good relationships, and a positive approach. Hagaskolan has about 580 students and is beautifully located in a quiet residential area in the northern part of Sundsvall. Hagaskolan has a strong community and dedicated staff. We work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a playground teacher for grades F-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an exciting and challenging assignment where you have the opportunity to help shape our recess activities and thus our work to prevent, promote, and manage bullying and increase students' enjoyment at school.

In the role of playground teacher, you will lead the work around our recesses in close dialogue with other staff members. You will work proactively by being present in the classrooms and informing about recesses and recess activities. You will plan and organize the recess activities and lead the other staff members who are supervising the recess. After recess, you will help manage any conflicts and bullying that may have arisen during the break.

You will continuously work actively to develop the recesses and the work surrounding them together with other staff members.

It is also important to be able to lead a group of students in various activities, including play, outdoor activities, creative work, and social contexts. You will also actively support students' ability and willingness to take responsibility and have influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working in schools and/or after-school care, preferably with a focus on recess activities. It is an advantage if you are a licensed teacher in after-school care or have equivalent education.

• Are knowledgeable about leadership and stimulation as well as additional adaptations to meet students' needs.
• Are clear, organized, structured, and attentive, as well as a team player.
• Are passionate and engaged in your assignment and are dedicated to supporting students' development both academically and socially.
• Are a communicative and clear leader who can create trusting relationships with both students and colleagues.
• Enjoy leading and driving development issues within your area of responsibility.
• Preferably have an interest in using nature as a natural part of learning.
