Hagaskolan is a K-9 school that offers a safe school experience with high expectations, good relationships, and a positive approach. Hagaskolan has about 580 students and is beautifully located in a quiet residential area in the northern part of Sundsvall. Hagaskolan has a strong community and an engaged staff. We work to create a safe and stimulating learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop both academically and socially. To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a recreation teacher or leisure home teacher for grades F-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an exciting and challenging assignment where you will have the opportunity to help develop a leisure activity based on the curriculum's purpose and central content for leisure homes. The assignment includes collaborating with teachers and colleagues in the leisure home during the school day to contribute to increasing students' goal fulfillment. You are expected to plan and carry out activities based on students' needs and the curriculum's requirements.

In collaboration with the work team and your teaching colleagues in grades F-6, you will create a structured and good pedagogical environment during school hours and leisure time, where each student should be given the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their conditions. We strive for a coherent connection between school and leisure home, where the operations should go hand in hand linked to Lgr 22.

It is also important to be able to lead a group of students in various activities, including play, outdoor activities, creative tasks, and social contexts. You will also actively support students' ability and willingness to take responsibility and have influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher in leisure homes or equivalent qualifications that we assess as comparable. Experience working in schools and/or leisure homes is an advantage.

• Is knowledgeable about leadership and stimulation and has experience making extra adjustments.
• Is clear, organized, structured, and responsive, as well as a true team player.
• Is passionate about leading students in their development both academically and socially.
• Is a communicative and clear leader.
• Has a good ability to create strong relationships with both students and guardians.
• Enjoys leading and driving development issues within the leisure home.
• Likes to work with nature as a natural part of learning.
