Kramfors School consists of two educational units, primary school grades 4-6 and Adapted Primary School grades 1-6. Currently, about 55 students are enrolled in Kramfors School's After School Program. Our Platform for Governance and Management guides us in our daily work and ensures a uniform quality throughout the educational unit where processes, roles, and responsibilities show the way. Everything we do should be permeated by safety, engagement, and belief in the future. In our work with students, we should have a salutogenic approach where the emphasis is on health-promoting factors, so-called 'wellness factors', and a relational approach, where we see that students encounter difficulties, i.e., the student is in relation to their environment, and it is in the meeting with the learning environment that difficulties arise. All staff at the school and after school program should collaborate to create a good learning environment throughout the day where we see that movement and breaks are an important part for all students to develop academically, feel safe, and have study peace.

We are an accredited Erasmus school, which means that we have continuous exchanges and collaborations with students and teachers from other European countries. The school's staff has the opportunity for educational courses or study visits to our partner countries. As a newly hired teacher, you will receive a mentor who provides you with operational and professional introduction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your task is to plan, implement, and follow up on activities that strengthen students' learning and well-being based on applicable governing documents. The work includes all tasks associated with the profession. You work to create the most accessible school situation possible by adapting the learning environment for the student in collaboration with other teachers, student health services, and other staff. You work towards the goal that all students should develop as individuals and that the student should feel that the school and after school program provide a sense of coherence. You always have the student at the center.

In your position, you will be a mentor for students in the after school program and also have duties in class; placement, grade levels, subjects/subject areas may vary throughout the year and from year to year. As a recreation teacher at Kramfors School, you work together with your teams at school and after school program, and collaboration with the primary and adapted primary school will be an important part of your assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed recreation teacher or who is on a good path to becoming a teacher or has other relevant education/experience. We prefer that you have experience, knowledge, and understanding of NPF and have a low-affect approach. As a person, we value that you are both clear and secure in your role as a teacher, and that you have a holistic view of students' time at school. We would like you to be a positive, engaged, and flexible person. Furthermore, you have good collaboration and relationship skills in your work with students, colleagues, and guardians. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. You need to have a B driver's license.
