Gudmundrå School is a 7-9 school with approximately 360 students. We are centrally located in Kramfors with good communication links. Our school works for safety, study peace, and high expectations of the students. Engagement and a belief in the future are important values. Systematic quality work is a foundation for increased goal fulfillment, where our main processes permeate the operations, including development discussions, teaching, and reception processes.

Gudmundrå School is accredited by Erasmus+. Erasmus+ is the EU's program for education, training, youth exchanges, and sports projects in the EU, which means we have ongoing exchanges and collaborations with students and teachers from other European countries. The school's staff and students have the opportunity for educational courses or study visits to our partner countries.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a primary school teacher for grades 7-9 in the subjects of English and Social Studies. We allocate time and resources for collegial learning that takes place both in subject teams and in work teams. We work to develop good strategies and methods to reach each student with guidance and stimulation within the framework of their teaching group. Providing students with individual support according to their conditions and needs is essential. Additionally, creating motivation through value-creating learning and entrepreneurship is important.

Pedagogical planning occurs at both individual and group levels and is followed up with formative assessment, which is an important part of the teaching process. This also takes place digitally on our learning platform, Its Learning. The position also includes shared mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications as a primary school teacher in English and social studies. You should be able to work independently and in teams. You possess digital competence. You also have the ability to see students' needs and can, in consultation with staff, take appropriate measures to support the student. We also expect you to be a clear leader in and out of the classroom, where structure, safety, and study peace permeate your leadership. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability.
