Job Responsibilities

In the role of a housing supporter, the primary task is to provide support to individuals with mental health issues in their daily lives. The support is always based on the individual's needs and wishes. Our housing supporters work empathetically and motivationally to assist the individual in living as independently as possible. Support is provided both inside and outside the individual's home.

The job includes documenting the intervention and creating written implementation plans, so you need to have a good ability to express yourself in writing. The work requires good collaboration skills and flexibility, as well as the ability to work and take responsibility both independently and in a team.

Qualifications

You have at least a high school education in care and social services or another equivalent education, such as nursing assistant.

Experience working with the target group is an advantage, and we would like you to have knowledge of MI, Low Arousal Approach, and ESL.

A driving license (B) is an advantage.

You should be calm and stable in stressful situations. You should be responsible and able to structure your work independently. You should have social competence, be able to collaborate with others, and take responsibility for your work environment. You should have a pedagogical insight into people's different conditions and be able to adapt your way of communicating accordingly.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Experience working with the target group is an advantage.
