Are you Prorenata's new backend developer?

We are looking for an experienced backend developer who appreciates technical challenges in complex systems and wants to work with a product that makes a difference in a team that enjoys solving problems together. Is that you?

Prorenata develops user-friendly, efficient, and engaging tools for our users, who often have to deal with difficult and outdated systems. We have been profitable for the past ten years, are growing rapidly, and have an office in central Stockholm.

Our product, Prorenata Journal, is a journal system for student health and is used by the majority of Sweden's municipalities.

At Prorenata, we use several modern open-source web technologies to build our product – Python and Django, TypeScript and Vue.js, among others. 

The history of Prorenata

Prorenata was founded in 2010 and has grown organically by about 25% per year. We are entirely customer-funded and driven by meeting our customers' needs.

The Role  

We are now looking for an experienced backend developer to join our team!

As a developer at Prorenata, you will take a holistic approach to the system and actively contribute to improving both the codebase and development processes.

You will play a key role in driving technical decisions, optimizing system architecture, and ensuring that the team delivers sustainable and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will act as a mentor for less experienced developers and contribute to raising the technical level within the team.

Prorenata prefers that you have experience with some of the technologies, frameworks, and services that the company uses, such as:

• Python & Django

• Git & GitHub

• Docker & Kubernetes

• MySQL & PostgreSQL

• Redis, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch

To succeed in the role, it is important that you have solid experience in system architecture, container-based solutions, and that you are skilled in system-wide problem-solving. You should also enjoy helping others – we like to help each other and our customers.
