Assignment Description

Within a business area for traffic information, an initiative is being driven to manage the lifecycle of digital information signs at stops, stations, and within maritime traffic. The goal is to implement control systems for digital signs and install the equipment provided by suppliers after completed procurements.

For this assignment, we are looking for a senior test leader responsible for further developing the test strategy and test plan, leading integration tests and end-to-end tests, and coordinating work between the business, IT, and external suppliers. The role also includes planning and conducting functionality verification and ensuring that business requirements are met in the information flows displayed on the signs.

The assignment also involves ensuring correct integration of the supplier's systems with existing message flows and all sign types, as well as other connected equipment. The focus is on monitoring the supplier's technical integration work.

Furthermore, the planning and execution of API and message-based testing are included. The role also encompasses monitoring and reporting test status and risk management. The work is conducted in an agile development environment where test management takes place in established testing tools.

The work is carried out in project form together with the supplier, in parallel with preparations for future management. The test leader is also expected to contribute to the development of QA work within the business area.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least eight (8) years of professional experience in the role of test leader.
• At least four (4) years of experience in system integration testing and end-to-end testing.
• At least four (4) years of documented practical experience in planning, driving, and following up tests with both internal and external parties, with stakeholders from both business and IT.
• At least two (2) years of documented experience in establishing and further developing QA work in agile development teams, for example through the introduction of test strategies, test processes, working methods, quality frameworks, or improvement work related to testing and quality.
• At least one (1) year of experience in performing API testing.

Desirable Requirements

• Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to extract and analyze information in databases and logs during at least one (1) assignment.
• At least three (3) years of experience in testing and quality assurance of software systems connected to distributed hardware.
• At least one (1) year of experience in testing event-driven software systems using MQTT as a protocol.
• At least two (2) years of documented experience working in Jira and Xray.
