The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, leisure centers, high school, adult education, and child and student health. Here, about 1100 employees work together to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

Edvinshem School, built in the 1980s, is located in the western part of Ystad. The school is within walking distance to both the sea and central Ystad.

Edvinshem School consists of two school buildings, Edvinshem and Edvinshus. Edvinshem houses students from preschool class up to grade three as well as adapted primary school for students in grades one to six. Edvinshus, located about a five-minute walk from Edvinshem, welcomes students from grades four to six.

The leisure center, located at Edvinshem, offers children a meaningful leisure time both before and after school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new colleague to our team at Edvinshem School's leisure center. We are looking for you who are trained as a leisure educator or teacher in leisure centers and who feel that you want to help develop our leisure center. With us, you will work in a team consisting of leisure educators, childcare workers, and educational resources.

• ensuring that students receive good knowledge development before, during, and after the school day.

• giving students the opportunity for influence and participation in teaching and education.
• collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• actively participating in planning and development work and contributing to systematic quality work.
• keeping an eye on the outside world and being curious about learning and developing.
• being creative and able to adapt your approach and pedagogical methods and techniques based on the individual student's needs or the needs of the student group.

At our school, we are fortunate to have our own leisure facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Trained leisure educator or teacher in leisure centers.

Experience is required.
