We are now strengthening our team of electrical designers who want to work with the latest technology in the defense industry. The defense industry is currently facing major challenges with electrification and needs more knowledgeable and curious employees to design electrical systems and their cabling.

Job Responsibilities and Personality

As a designer in the defense industry, you will be offered a varied, challenging, and exciting job with the latest technology. You can work with electrical schematics in 2D or installations in 3D. You are an important team player and contribute your experiences and knowledge to constantly drive the work forward. You independently manage your own tasks while being responsive to the team's challenges and tasks. You see it as a given to be communicative, a problem solver, and “on your toes.” The assignments can be carried out both at the client's site and in-house at our office or with one of our partners. Occasional travel may occur.

Qualifications

For this position, it is a requirement that you have at least 2 years of experience in design or product development in electrical engineering. You also have the following qualifications:

  • Education from a university, college, or vocational school in mechanical engineering, mechanics, or electronics
  • Knowledge of CAD systems, such as CREO, CATIA, or similar
  • Knowledge of SABER, Capital Harness, E3, etc.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Citizenship in a NATO member country

As a person, you are communicative and enjoy working in both small and large teams. Of course, you are interested in technology, curious, and enjoy keeping up with what is happening in the industry. As a consultant, it is also required that you are professional and enjoy being the advisory party that the client needs.

To work in the defense industry and its confidentiality, a security clearance with a background check will also be required during the process.
