Nils Holgersson School is a free school with a cultural profile in Simrishamn. Here, 214 students attend from preschool class to grade 9, and we have a staff of around 40 dedicated employees. The school is run as a parent cooperative with a strong sense of community. The school's culture is characterized by close relationships, participation, and a strong belief in each student's ability.

We offer substitutes in:

• Preschool class
• Lower, middle, and upper secondary school
• After-school care

Job Responsibilities

As a substitute, you cover for the absence of regular staff and contribute to ensuring that teaching and operations continue with quality and structure.

Your tasks may include:

• Conducting lessons and activities according to planning
• Maintaining good order in the classroom and taking attendance
• Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
• Collaborating with colleagues and school management
• Restoring the classroom after the lesson ends
• Providing feedback to regular staff on how the day went

Qualifications

• Pedagogical education is an advantage
• Experience working with children and youth
• You have good communication skills and can build relationships
• You are confident, clear, and can set boundaries
• You can organize your work and follow instructions

Employment Conditions
