Do you want to help ensure that the vehicles of the future meet all safety and quality requirements? We are looking for a Product Compliance Officer for our client in Gothenburg. Here you will play a key role in managing regulatory issues, ensuring compliance, and acting as a link between technology, law, and authorities.

Your responsibilities

Manage regulatory investigations related to potential product defects

Drive the work in the Critical Concern Management Team (CCMT)

Ensure that vehicles, components, and systems meet all relevant regulations and standards globally

Interpret and monitor requirements regarding, for example, emissions, safety, and cybersecurity

Coordinate with engineering, legal, and quality departments to implement compliance strategies

Participate in internal audits and external inspections

Act as a central guarantee to avoid regulatory violations, recalls, fines, and damaged reputation

Your profile

At least 7 years of relevant experience in the field

University degree in engineering or equivalent

Documented experience in regulatory dialogues and high-level technical discussions

Good understanding of type approval certification and recall management on a global level

Ability to present complex and sensitive issues to management

Strong technical background, preferably with experience in product development and testing of complex systems

Project management experience

Skilled communicator, both at expert and management levels

Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Personal qualities

You are collaborative, solution-oriented, and comfortable in high-pressure situations. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment and can communicate clearly even in complex contexts.
