Göthriks School is a F-6 school with an attached after-school program. The school has over 180 students and is located in Hunnestad, about ten kilometers east of central Varberg, just a stone's throw from the World Heritage site Grimeton Radio Station.

Göthriks School is known for its good results and high ambitions among both staff and students. The school has a large proportion of qualified teachers and dedicated staff. In daily work, teachers focus on clarity and structure in teaching and communicate/inform via digital platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves teaching in grade 3 with associated planning, implementation, assessment, documentation, and follow-up. You will share a class and work side by side with an experienced and seasoned colleague. Typical teacher tasks such as team collaboration, communication with guardians, and cooperation with colleagues and student health teams are included in the assignment.

You have high expectations of the students, expressed in an expectation of all students' ability to learn. You plan teaching that clarifies expectations of what and how students should learn. You have a formative approach where you adapt your planning according to students' development and results. Through clear and engaging leadership, you involve students both in your teaching and in your planning, creating a safe and accessible learning environment. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you find it easy to collaborate and see it as a given to work collegially on planning the teaching. You cooperate with students, colleagues, and guardians in a responsive manner. You work systematically towards goals and results. You are driven and self-sufficient.

The position is a temporary contract until the summer break of 2025.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified to teach in the lower grades of primary school F-3.
