Särö Montessori School is a non-profit association, a parent cooperative, that has been in existence since 1988. The premises are originally a farm dating back to the 18th century, renovated to suit educational activities while retaining the original feel. Outside the school building, there is a large garden with fruit trees and vegetable patches, as well as a playground that invites play. The activities consist of preschool, primary school, and leisure center.
