JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be part of an engaged and creative team at a school where relationships and learning are in focus? Hjortsberg School in Falkenberg is now looking for a teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in English and preferably also Swedish, mathematics, and social studies subjects.

As a teacher at Hjortsberg School, you will:

• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in grades 4-6 with a focus on English and possibly also Swedish, mathematics, and social studies.
• Work relationally and be a positive and supportive force for students' development, both academically and socially.
• Actively participate in the team's joint development work.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive school environment.
• Be involved in working with our recently developed vision for the school: Hjortsberg School - A school where safety, community, and joy foster curiosity and lifelong learning. Through trusting relationships and varied teaching, we support each student to reach their full potential to become active, responsible individuals and citizens.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher with qualifications in English and preferably also Swedish, mathematics, and/or social studies.
• Has a relational approach and a strong belief in building good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
• Wants to work in accordance with Falkenberg Municipality's governing documents "Education Falkenberg 2023-2028" that emphasize safety, joy, and learning.
• Is curious, development-oriented, and enjoys working in a team.
