About the School

In the heart of Laholm, on the hill next to the City Park, lies Parkskolan.

Parkskolan is built on a tradition of pleasant community and good results that spans over 100 years. It is one of the larger schools in the municipality for grades F-6. The permanent staff, currently consisting of over 40 people, is a very good mix of those relatively new to the profession and those approaching the end of their teaching careers, a mix of new, proven, curious, and thoughtful. Parkskolan is also a practice school for Halmstad University, and therefore we regularly welcome teacher students who are in training, keeping us constantly updated in the field of education. Parkskolan is the school where everyone is constantly encouraged to grow and develop, both students and staff! Knowledge and culture collaborate in our daily lives. The diversity in our society and thus in our school is seen as a great asset - something we appreciate and capitalize on. Parkskolan has always had a good mix of different cultures, and our goal is to meet all students so that they have a good chance of succeeding with us, regardless of background. This also means that we actively work with respect and understanding that people are different and have different conditions. The school focuses on movement and relationships, where we believe that a good relationship and movement promote learning, along with a cooperative climate both in the classroom and among the staff. Teacher for the After-School Center at Parkskolan

Are you dedicated, creative, and want to make a difference in children's development? Parkskolan is now looking for a teacher for our after-school center who wants to help shape the future citizens of society!

About the position: As a teacher at the after-school center, you will be responsible for the activities at the after-school center at Parkskolan, and depending on your qualifications, teaching in other subjects may also be included. You will actively work to develop our students through meaningful activities based on the national curriculum LGR22 that support their personal and social development.

Your main tasks include:

Teaching at the after-school center and being part of the students' entire school day.
Acting as a playground and lunch supervisor, leading and planning break activities.
Actively collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the after-school center's activities.
Working with a language development approach in line with the school's overall perspective.

Knowledge of diabetes is advantageous.
