About the role The job involves supporting individuals with acquired brain injury, intellectual disabilities, autism, dementia, and neuropsychiatric disabilities in their development. At Nytida's daily activities, we have a primary focus; the individual. 

The fact that the activities are individually tailored is paramount. We start from the person's needs, interests, motivation, and above all, resources. Therefore, the activities vary from person to person. A strong desire among most is to establish or re-establish contact with the labor market. For life to be perceived as meaningful, something more is often needed. This can involve developing through physical activity, education, crafts, or simply meeting others to socialize and talk about everything that is life. Your tasks also include setting goals with the client, planning and documenting based on the current implementation plan, and maintaining contacts with case managers and networks.

About Daily Activities in Lödöse

Daily activities in Lödöse are located in the heart of the community and have good train and bus connections to both Gothenburg and Trollhättan.

The unit currently consists of 26 individuals with different strengths and interests. Each individual has a personalized activity schedule and set goals that they work to achieve.

As staff, you are responsible daily for planning that 2-5 individuals follow their schedules and receive adequate support to achieve their goals. As a support person for 3-4 individuals, you will follow up on their progress each month and represent the individual to the work team.

  You have a group manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operations. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.  

To work with us, you need a driver's license as we use cars or buses daily, and we also swim and bowl weekly at another location.

Every day with us is unique, and the individuals in our operations come before the staff's own needs. In practice, this means that we as staff need to be humble about what we encounter in the unit and find security in our values.

Your experience and knowledge You have a high school education in health and care, for example, as a nursing assistant. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have post-secondary education in social work, such as a social worker, occupational therapist, or similar, as well as experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
