At Bilvision, we are looking for a database developer who wants to grow with us - in a role where you can combine SQL development, data modeling, and ETL processes with the chance to influence how we build the data solutions of the future.

At Bilvision, we provide a web portal (SaaS) for companies active in and around the automotive industry, ranging from car dealers to insurance and finance companies. Our goal is to help customers digitize and streamline their work processes to save time and reduce errors. In the long term, our goal is to become the best SaaS company in the Nordic region within automotive trade!

About the role

As a database developer, you will work on developing and managing databases and data flows that are the heart of our systems. You will among other things

• build and optimize SQL databases, queries, and stored procedures

• work with ETL processes and data pipelines to integrate various sources (API, flat files, Excel)

• contribute to the development of our data storage and data warehouse solutions

• ensure that our data is accessible, accurate, and tailored for analysis and BI.

Who we believe you are

We are looking for someone who wants to grow in the role. You may be at the beginning of your career or have a few years of experience; the most important thing is that you are curious, want to understand relationships in data, and are passionate about developing smart solutions. To thrive and succeed in the role, we see that you have

• experience with SQL Server

• knowledge of T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, views)

• understanding of database design and normalization

• interest in ETL and data flows

• curiosity and a desire to learn new technologies.

It is a plus if you have experience with

• SSIS or other ETL tools

• Data Warehouse design (star schema/snowflake)

• Power BI (modeling and optimization for BI)

• version control (Git, Azure DevOps)

• .NET/full stack development

• development of APIs.
