Manta Marine is headquartered in Oslo, Norway, with offices in Sweden, Poland, and China.
Do you want to help us to promote a healthy planet for future generations? We are currently seeking a Project Manager to enhance our Business Transformation team.
Main responsibilities
Business Transformation at Manta Marine technologies is dedicated to supporting both core business operations and support functions through internal digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives. As a Project Manager within Business Transformation, you will join a dedicated team of three people and play a key role in driving change across the organization.
You will lead internal projects, where our employees and internal stakeholders are your primary customers. The role is focused on enabling more efficient, digital and automated ways of working – to help Manta Marine Technologies evolve, grow, and thrive in a dynamic business environment.
The position is based at our office in Gothenburg. You will work closely with colleagues locally, as well as collaborate with teams and stakeholders across our global offices.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse current business processes, systems, and structures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for digitalization, automation, and improvement
- Drive and lead internal transformation initiatives from idea to implementation
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define transformation strategies aligned with company objectives
- Lead and support cross-functional project teams to plan, execute, and follow up on change initiatives
- Develop and implement frameworks, tools, and best practices for managing transformation and improvement programs
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders and gather business requirements
- Measure and follow up on the impact of transformation efforts using KPIs and performance metrics
- Ensure clear communication, effective change management, and strong stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Background and skills
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably with project management education, and have at least three years’ experience as a Project Manager leading internal change and transformation initiatives. You have a proven track record of implementing systems, processes, and new ways of working, with experience driving change across organizations, ideally in small to mid-sized companies. You are a fast learner with strong system understanding and the ability to quickly grasp both business processes and technical solutions.
Your background includes change and process improvement, as well as leading complex projects in dynamic environments. You are experienced in structured project management, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, efficient resource use, and proactive risk management.
Personal qualities
You are a self-driven and proactive individual with strong passion for change and continuous improvement, who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment. You take ownership of your work while valuing close collaboration, and you enjoy working together with colleagues across functions and geographies to drive initiatives forward. With strong analytical and communication skills, you quickly understand processes and systems, engage stakeholders effectively, and make sound decisions when not all parameters are fully defined.
What we offer:
We offer an opportunity to be part of a market leading innovative global company in the forefront of green technology for ships. An open and inspiring environment where your energy will make a difference. We provide great potential for personal and professional development.
Manta Marine is committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe that creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment is not only the right thing to do, but also the smart thing to do. Let’s make the world a greener place!
We welcome your application as soon as possible; selection is done continuously.
