Do you have a background as a DBA and want to continue developing within cloud and modern architectures? At Knowit Core in Malmö, we are now looking for someone who wants to combine their experience with traditional databases with new approaches in cloud and medallion architecture.

About the role

With us, you will have the opportunity to build on your expertise in Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server while also developing within modern data and cloud platforms. We are looking for someone who has a solid foundation in PL/SQL or T-SQL but has also worked with cloud environments and modern data platforms in recent years.

You will work on projects where you will: • Design and manage database environments in both traditional and cloud-based solutions • Build and optimize pipelines and data models according to medallion architecture. • Collaborate closely with colleagues in Data Engineering, Cloud, and BI to create complete solutions • Explore new technologies and methods that drive development forward

Who are you?

We believe that you • Have several years of experience as a DBA within Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server • Are comfortable with PL/SQL or T-SQL • Have at least two years of experience with modern data stacks and cloud platforms • Have knowledge or interest in medallion architecture and cloud services • Speak and write Swedish fluently, and English is also a natural part of your everyday life

A previous consulting background is a plus, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you are curious and want to continue growing in the role.
