We are now looking for a BI Developer / BI Specialist with strong expertise in Power BI, who wants to work closely with the business and transform data into clear, usable, and business-oriented reports and dashboards.

The role is an important part of our investment in a data-driven working method and involves close collaboration with the business, product owners, and our Data & BI team.

About the role

As a BI Developer, your main focus is to understand the needs of the business and translate them into insightful reports and visualizations in Power BI. You serve as a support to leaders and employees by making the right information available at the right time.

You primarily work in the reporting and presentation layer as well as the data platform and backend.

Main responsibilities:

• Further develop and maintain reports and dashboards in Power BI
• Work closely with the business to understand needs and requirements
• Ensure that reports are user-friendly, accurate, and relevant
• Contribute to common KPIs, metrics, and definitions
• Train and support users in Power BI
• Participate in improvement work regarding report structure and visualization
• Manage data and backend data models and sources

We are looking for someone who has

Requirements:

• Several years of experience with Power BI
• Good knowledge of DAX and data modeling for reporting
• Experience working closely with business reporting needs
• Ability to visualize data in a pedagogical way

Meritorious:

• Experience in reporting within production, logistics, sales, or finance
• Experience from the food industry
• Basic understanding of data warehouses and data platforms
• Experience with Power BI Service (workspaces, permissions, deployment)

• Analytical with a good sense of structure and quality
• Curious and solution-oriented
• Enjoys being a bridge between data and business
• Pedagogical and confident in dialogue with users
