We are looking for an experienced test engineer with a focus on test automation who wants to contribute to high quality in software solutions. The role combines manual testing with the development of automated tests and provides the opportunity to work closely with both colleagues and users in the team.

As a test engineer, you will:

• Develop and maintain test frameworks and test environments

• Perform manual testing to ensure software quality

• Work with automated tests and various test frameworks

• Provide support and share knowledge with colleagues who want to implement automation

• Work closely with users and stakeholders to understand new issues and solutions

Development primarily takes place in a Linux environment with Python as the main language, but the role requires flexibility to work with different technologies as needed.

• Experience with software projects in an agile environment, including requirements gathering, implementation, maintenance, and support

• Test case development as well as development of test frameworks and test environments

• Experience with platform development in a CI/CD context is a plus

• Experience with larger software systems and solutions for logging and information management

• Very good knowledge of Python, preferably pytest

• Familiarity with various programming and scripting languages as well as version control systems like GIT

• Experience working in a Linux environment

• Experience with APIs, databases, Jenkins, and container solutions

• Basic understanding of networks and protocols as well as embedded systems

• Experience with AI for development and testing is a plus

• Preferred: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or similar

• Good communication skills in spoken and written English, preferably also Swedish

• Collaborative, helpful, and eager to share knowledge

• Self-driven, responsible, and proactive

• Easy to connect with others within and outside the team

• Strong interest in technology and enjoys working in a group

• Immediate start

• At least 6 months initially, with the possibility of extension.
