ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for a junior Information Security Specialist for our client, who is a leader in the marine defense industry. You will work in the Information Security and IT Architecture section, where our client focuses on ensuring the security of their submarines and surface vessels against cyberattacks and other threats. The team currently consists of 25 people with mixed levels of experience, and there will be a clear introduction - all to ensure that you, as a junior, have the right conditions in your new role. The team includes senior IT architects responsible for the overall system design and Information Security Specialists who work more broadly within both technology and law.

This is an exciting and attractive department that suits you if you have an interest and aptitude for IT security as well as law/documentation. If you have a background in IT security, we would love to see that you also have an interest in writing from other perspectives; perhaps you have been a hobby writer alongside your technical interests?

Examples of tasks:

• Manage and document security requirements, ensuring that these requirements are met
• Participate in the work of implementing and maintaining security measures on our vessels
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure that our security standards are followed
• Work with regulations and requirements from authorities and ensure that our products meet these requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has at least a bachelor's degree, preferably a master's in IT security, Information Security, law (focused on IT), or other education deemed equivalent.
• Has at least one year of experience in IT security, Information Security, law, or similar relevant experience.
• Possesses an interest in both technical and legal aspects of information security.
• Has the ability to document and communicate security requirements and solutions clearly and structured
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

This position requires approval in a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection.
