Intraphone develops a digital platform used in home care and personal assistance for planning, documentation, and real-time communication. We are now looking for a Tech Lead who wants to lead the modernization of the platform, drive the transition to Spring Boot, and contribute to a long-term, sustainable architecture. You will join an experienced, unpretentious team where the technology choices you make have a direct impact on both the product's development and the users' daily lives.

What will you do?

In the role of Tech Lead at Intraphone, you will have a broad and business-oriented responsibility where you lead technical decisions, work closely with product owners and the team, and set the technical direction forward. You will be close enough to the code to understand the details and support the developers while driving modernization and further development of the platform's architecture.

You will, among other things: 

• Drive the migration of the backend to Spring Boot and shape the future architecture

• Modernize and simplify the platform and further develop existing systems

• Develop and improve APIs and common technical guidelines

• Be a technical guiding star for the team and support knowledge transfer – especially within Spring Boot

• Work hands-on with the code to some extent, but with a primary focus on the whole, direction, and technical leadership. 

Who are we looking for?

We believe that you are currently a lead developer or technical lead – or an experienced developer who wants to take the next step towards broader technical responsibility. You are used to making decisions, taking responsibility for technical direction, and understanding how changes affect the whole in a product environment.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has solid experience with Java and Spring Boot, preferably also from migration work

• Has a broad understanding of how backend, frontend, and app interact in a product environment

• Has experience with container and deployment environments as well as modern development processes

• Has the ability to coach other developers and drive technical choices

• Has an overarching understanding of technologies such as React and Android/Kotlin

• Is accustomed to working in Linux and open-source-based environments
