Do you want to lead one of our most important digitalization projects in production?

We are now looking for an experienced project manager in digital production who wants to take full responsibility for the implementation of a MES system (Manufacturing Execution System) in our upcoming bakery in Landskrona. The role is central to our continued digitalization of production and involves close collaboration between operations, IT, and external suppliers. The production system will be the heart of Pågen's digitalization journey and will impact the entire production chain. You should be willing to work operationally with various tasks since the IT unit consists of a smaller group where we help each other within our different areas of expertise, ensuring Pågen's IT together.

About the role

As the Project Manager for MES, you are responsible for planning, execution, and implementation of the MES solution in our upcoming production. You work operationally and lead the project from requirements and design to commissioning and handover to management. You want and are used to working with improvements and are a driven person who enjoys challenges and changes.

You will be the link between:

Production & operations
IT organization
System suppliers and system partners

We are looking for someone who has

Requirements:

Several years of experience in project management within IT and production
Experience in system implementations in manufacturing operations
Good understanding of production processes
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Very good communication skills in Swedish (English is a plus)
Good language skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious:

Experience with MES systems
Experience from the food, process, or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of integrations with ERP (e.g., D365), automation, or production-related systems

Personal qualities

Structured and confident in a leadership role
Solution-oriented and pragmatic
Strong in the dialogue between technology and operations
Enjoys communication, accurate and to the right stakeholders
Used to working in fast-paced environments with many stakeholders
