Assignment Description

The assignment is placed within the IT operations of a larger public organization. The IT department is responsible for the development and management of mission-critical systems that support several central administrative and community-related processes as well as collaboration at national and international levels. In the role of test automation engineer, you will work in a cross-functional and self-organizing development team where you are responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests throughout the development chain. The assignment is conducted in a modern and scalable development environment that includes Red Hat OpenShift, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, GIT, Jira, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases
• Ensure that requirements, features, and user stories are verified with sufficient and relevant test coverage
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects and be responsible for accurate and clear defect reporting
• Manage and further develop test environments, test data, and testing tools
• Actively contribute to improved test strategy, quality assurance, and Continuous Testing

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 4 years of current work experience in software testing and test automation
• Very good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written

Desirable Requirements

• At least 2 years of current work experience with Cypress
• At least 2 years of current work experience with SQL
• At least 2 years of current work experience in test development with TypeScript or JavaScript
• At least 2 years of current work experience in test development with Java
• At least 2 years of current work experience in API testing
