Project Manager with a Focus on Information Security

The Digitalization and IT unit was established about a year ago and has the overall responsibility for digitalization within the upper secondary and adult education administration in Malmö City, including data protection and information security. The unit is now strengthened by a project manager with expertise in information security. This opens up opportunities to both develop in the role and contribute to shaping a modern, secure, and sustainable digital operation.

Responsibilities

The unit is in an exciting phase characterized by establishment and development, where the unit's work and future direction are being shaped. In this role, several important tasks await, including:

Support the information and data protection coordinator in establishing a management system for information security and data protection (LISD)
Establish a process for managing new digital needs, from needs assessment and prioritization to implementation and management
Drive both operational and strategic initiatives to ensure the best possible digital work environment for the administration
Contribute to the design of effective system management and handling, including whitelisting of software
Develop and maintain a roadmap for the administration's digitalization journey

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (180 credits) with a focus on IT, systems science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
Relevant work experience as assessed by the employer, preferably in the field of information security (ISO27001)
Good digital competence
Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

Desirable:

Experience in public procurement
Experience in service design
Experience in agile methods within IT
Experience in system management
Good English in speech and writing.

You work well with complex issues, analyze and break down problems into their components, and find paths forward in complicated situations.
