ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is looking for Axis Communications for a student studying engineering or computer science who has a strong interest in working with testing from an end-user perspective. Axis Communications is currently a leader in digital network surveillance and has offices in more than 20 countries and partners worldwide.

You will belong to the New Business department and the product area Access control. In New Business, the decision-making paths are short, and you will have the opportunity to influence the work through your own initiatives and provide input to the developers regarding the product. All to ensure that the best products on the market are constantly being developed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • You will work with quality assurance of embedded software
  • You will work with manual testing (scripted/exploratory) and basic scripting (Python).
  • You will create bug reports.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Is studying to become an engineer in computer engineering, electronics, technical physics, or computer science and has at least one and a half years left of your education
  • Has high technical competence and understanding
  • Has good programming skills, but above all a strong interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Can work 2 days a week, during office hours
  • Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently for internal communication and documentation

It is an advantage if you have

  • Experience working with testing
