About the Position

The assignment starts immediately and is expected to last for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The assignment is due to a parental leave at the client. The position entails overall responsibility for the local IT environment on-site. You are the one who ensures that everyday operations run smoothly for end-users – from workplaces and conference rooms to client equipment and printers.

The role is operational, hands-on, and requires physical presence. You work closely with the business and are a key person in ensuring a stable, secure, and efficient IT environment. Support is not just about solving problems, but about preventing them!

Your Main Responsibilities

As an Onsite Support Technician, you will among other things:

  • Provide local IT support when remote support is insufficient
  • Install, configure, and deliver computers, phones, and other client-related IT equipment
  • Ensure that hardware registers and documentation are accurate and up to date
  • Handle VIP cases with high demands on pace, quality, and service
  • Work systematically with troubleshooting and incident management
  • Document cases, guides, and instructions in case and knowledge systems
  • Support colleagues who are not on-site, for example during operational disruptions or security incidents
  • Be responsible for support of conference rooms and printers
  • Contribute to maintaining high quality in the local Onsite delivery across all areas of responsibility

Who Are You?

You have relevant experience in IT support in a business-related role and thrive best when you are where the action is. You enjoy helping, explaining, and solving issues with calm, structure, and a professional demeanor.

We see that you:

  • Have a genuine interest in technology and a strong service focus
  • Are self-sufficient, responsible, and confident in prioritizing in a changing environment
  • Work proactively and catch problems before they become incidents
  • Are communicative, pedagogical, and attentive to end-users
  • Thrive in collaboration but have no problem driving your work independently
  • Are willing to contribute improvement suggestions and more efficient working methods
  • Experience from larger organizations with complex IT environments is a plus.

It is a must that you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience with documentation and administrative handling within IT
  • A valid driver's license (B)
