Join Our Team as a Senior Software Design Engineer / DevSecOps

In this role, you will develop an advanced and scalable cross-platform development infrastructure that all our global R&D teams will benefit from. Our successful IoT platform for Building Management has many facets and a vast technology depth, in other words you will learn and get new experiences every day. You will be a part of a high-performing and innovative team consisting of a handful of highly professional developers.

You can be based in our R&D Center in Lund, Sweden with a hybrid working model.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement DevSecOps technologies and processes for both on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with our cyber security and development teams to make sure our offers meet official standards and regulations.
• Design and develop in-house tools and solutions to support our R&D organization.
• Automate wherever possible whilst always knowing how far is ‘too far’.
• Constantly innovate and evaluate new technologies.
• Collaborate with and support our software teams around the world.

Essential for the Role

• Be comfortable switching between complex tasks with different technologies on a daily basis.
• Experience creating full programs or systems using languages such as Rust and Python.
• Administrating Linux and Windows operating systems, configuring and deploying networking and application stacks.
• A background automating everything from continuous integration to delivery pipelines and infrastructure.
• Familiar with on-prem Kubernetes and Azure cloud services.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills – learning fast through sharing knowledge.
• Effective communication skills in English with excellent verbal and written skills.
