Your role with us

As a technician, your responsibilities include installing and administering welfare technology solutions within care and support. Tasks include the installation of keyless locks, emergency alarms, surveillance cameras, digital medicine cabinets, and various types of sensors.

In this role, you will collaborate with various professional groups in the municipality and maintain ongoing contact with customers, relatives, staff, property owners, and suppliers regarding our technical solutions.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus or other education that the employer considers equivalent. We want you to have customer and support experience and preferably experience from technical and/or mechanical work as well as service work.

Since the job requires communication and documentation, we expect you to have good computer skills and master Swedish in both spoken and written form. We also prefer that you have knowledge of English. Experience working with locks and alarms, technical systems, and a technical interest is desirable. A driving license for a manual transmission is a requirement.

As a person, you are secure and stable with good self-awareness. You are attentive and put the customer's needs at the center, with an approach that adapts to the situation. Furthermore, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks by driving processes forward and identifying areas for improvement. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and handle any conflicts constructively. Experience working with locks and alarms, technical systems, and a technical interest is desirable. Finally, you are service-oriented, calm, and attentive, with a professional and accommodating demeanor.

This is us

In the care administration, the Digital Development unit has a management-wide responsibility for system management and the development of digitalization and welfare technology. Digital development consists of system administrators, technicians, and a unit manager, currently totaling 14 employees.

Digital development is part of the Planning unit, which encompasses the administration's overarching specialist competencies. Our goal is to contribute to ensuring that the administration's operations have the best possible conditions to succeed in their tasks both today and in the future.

The care administration's operations are aimed at the elderly and individuals who need functional support, as well as those requiring home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
