Embedded Software Developer in Transport and Infrastructure

ABOUT THE POSITION

In the role of Embedded Software Developer, you will work on the development of safety-critical embedded systems within the transport and infrastructure sector. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in various disciplines and be involved in the entire development chain, from analysis and design to testing, integration, and troubleshooting. The work takes place in a process-driven environment with a focus on technical analysis, troubleshooting, and high-quality standards in everything created.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Perform technical analysis of problems and new features
  • Design, implement, and integrate software functionality
  • Perform maintenance and bug fixing
  • Work with requirements specification
  • Conduct root cause and safety analyses
  • Develop safety-critical embedded systems

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary education in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics/Mathematics, or equivalent
  • Has good knowledge of C programming from studies/hobby projects or work
  • Has good knowledge of Linux-based systems from studies/hobby projects or work
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, GitLab, or Jenkins
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is a merit if you have

  • Previous experience in C++ programming
  • Previous experience with ERTMS standards
  • Previous experience with CENELEC standards
  • Previous experience in programming with PHP and Python
