Junior Systems Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a junior systems engineer with us, you will become a key player in a multidisciplinary team. You will work on the development and integration of systems for vehicle propulsion and support functions. This is a role for you who enjoys seeing the big picture - from the initial concept and design board to the final delivery and practical testing.
You will have the chance to work closely with experienced engineers, project managers, and suppliers on projects that truly make a difference.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Support the development of complex systems for propulsion, power transmission, and auxiliary systems.
- Participate in the work of making engines, gearboxes, propellers, and control systems function as a seamless unit.
- Create and maintain specifications, interfaces, and test plans.
- Perform simulations, risk assessments, and participate in practical tests such as FAT, HAT, and SAT.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a degree in mechanical, marine, or systems engineering (or equivalent).
- 1-3 years of experience in systems work or product development, preferably within the marine, energy, or defense sectors.
- Has a basic understanding of mechanics, electrical engineering, and control technology, as well as knowledge of requirements management and technical standards.
- Preferably has experience with AVEVA Suite, CREO, IBM DOORS, or KabDoc.
- Is fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
- Holds a valid driver’s license (B).
Other:
- The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions with security classification requirements, there may be a requirement for Swedish citizenship.
