QA Tester at Axis

As a QA Tester at Axis, you will work with complex problem-solving in one of Sweden's best QA departments alongside like-minded colleagues who value your thoughts and ideas. Your focus will be on the development of automated testing around Axis' broad product portfolio, ranging from cameras and access control systems to audio. ABOUT THE POSITION

Axis works with the development of network-based video surveillance and currently offers both cameras and system solutions in this field. The company is a leader in its industry and has offices in 20 countries and partners worldwide.

In this role, you will work with various types of testing, focusing on automated and exploratory methods of Axis' in-house developed products. In this position, you will gain a broad understanding of Axis' entire product portfolio, where you will work extensively with tasks in both testing and development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

Test development, exploratory testing, and test automation work on Axis products, ranging from cameras and access control systems to audio.
Monitoring automated system tests and analysis.
Develop test cases and you are encouraged to explore your limits and develop your skills.
Data-driven analysis of user behavior and product quality.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to enjoy and be skilled at problem-solving. Since the position is very dynamic, you need to thrive and be motivated by changing tasks and be excited about testing new technologies, programming, and complex problem-solving.

We are looking for someone who has:

A degree in a relevant IT field at the bachelor's or master's level. A degree in engineering is considered a merit.
Basic programming skills in Python from studies or work (Please share any personal projects you have).
Basic Linux skills.
Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have:

Experience working in an agile testing and development environment.
Network knowledge.
Experience programming in C#.
