About Unika Västerås Daily Activity

Unika Västerås daily activities offer individually tailored and meaningful activities for adults within target group 1 with various disabilities. Physical activity, creative activities, and outdoor activities occur regularly. The idea is that the activities should promote a more independent life and increase knowledge about health, for example. We have a capacity of 30 places.

Your role as a Work Supervisor

You will work closely with our participants, support them in their daily activities, and contribute to a safe and stimulating environment. Your work includes organizing activities that promote learning and development, personal care, and being a positive support in everyday life. You need to be attentive to our participants' needs and wishes and be able to adapt to different situations. We prefer that you have previously worked as a supervisor in daily activities.

Some work on a farm with animals is included in the tasks.

Who are we looking for?

• Education as a social pedagogue, nursing assistant, child and leisure program, treatment assistant, or equivalent education.

• Experience working with adults within LSS.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

• B driver's license.

• We also consider it very meritorious if you have experience with clear pedagogical methods, TAKK/AKK, and low-arousal approaches.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Other

Employment form: Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period.

Work percentage: 80 percent and only daytime.

Salary: According to agreement.

Start date: February 3, 2025. We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
