Min Assistans is looking for assistants for one of our clients in Västerås.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with younger individuals with intellectual disabilities. You have some form of education in healthcare and previous experience in similar work. You enjoy being active and participating in various activities. You like animals, swimming, and exercising. You can handle an active work situation with a young woman who needs a lot of support to manage her daily life. Knowledge of sign language and picture support is a plus.

The tasks include independently providing support and active supervision, defusing frustration, and training for new situations. This requires a great deal of empathy and patience. You cannot be allergic to any furry animal or chlorine in swimming pools as you will be exposed to them during employment.

Due to the nature of the assignment, good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

The workplace is located in a rural area with poor bus connections, so a driver's license and access to a car are essential for it to work.

You will be scheduled for weekday evenings and every other weekend.
