Västerås IVF is a private clinic established in 2022 with specialist knowledge in fertility investigations and assisted reproduction. You will be part of a team consisting of doctors, nurses, embryologists, and secretaries. The operations are conducted during the day. We perform assisted reproduction in a private setting. The clinic is located in modern premises in central Västerås and carries out approximately 200-300 treatments each year.

Job Responsibilities: The work involves responsibility for investigation, analysis, and assessment of patients. The social worker is responsible for ensuring and reinforcing the social, psychosocial, and legal perspectives in the operations and coordination for patients undergoing various types of fertility treatments. The tasks will include conversations with patients/couples who request it or where doctors assess this competence as important for adequate crisis management. Regular meetings with doctors may sometimes be necessary to inform and discuss selected cases. Provide written statements in connection with the psychosocial assessment of the recipient's (couple or single woman) suitability for a donation treatment.

Qualifications: Licensed social worker/counselor

Employment Type: On-demand or hourly employment. Start Date: As soon as possible by agreement.
