Personal Assistant for a Cheerful and Social Girl in Västerås

As a personal assistant to a 15-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and intellectual disabilities, you will be an essential part of her daily life. You will assist her with everything from personal hygiene to leisure activities such as walks, music listening, and horseback riding. The position involves work in the home in Västerås and various adventures together with double staffing during certain parts of the day. Communication is done through various means such as body language, signs, and pictures, requiring curiosity and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

Assist with meal times, exercise, and personal hygiene
Participate in leisure activities like walks, music listening, and horseback riding
Communicate through body language, signs, and pictures

Requirements:

Experience with cerebral palsy & epilepsy is desirable
A driver's license is preferred
Proficient in spoken and written Swedish
Non-smoker and proficient swimmer

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable person who enjoys playing and having fun. The position is approximately 50-75% and includes day, evening, night, and every other weekend shifts. Salary according to agreement and collective agreement.
