Vermeer Viking is the official dealer of Vermeer’s machinery program & products in Sweden and Norway. Their goal is to provide their customers with high-quality, personalized service, high-quality machines, and project solutions.
The company was founded in 2011 in Askersund, close to many of the larger Swedish cities and with good communications. In 2016, the sales area was expanded to cover all of Norway. About the position
Vermeer Viking is on an exciting growth journey and is now looking for a regional sales representative in Mälardalen and northern Sweden. As a regional sales representative, your task is to expand Vermeer Viking's existing customer base in your district, and you will engage both existing and new customers through physical visits as well as in the showroom in Västberga.
In addition to sales, the position also includes product and installation support, after-sales support, operator training, as well as technical, project, and service support. There are good internal training opportunities, and for the right person, the potential for development is significant.
Qualifications and characteristics
We see that you who are applying are on your way up in your career as a machinery salesperson and have experience in sales within the industry. You have good knowledge of construction machinery and industrial-related vehicles and are used to handling questions and support cases of a mechanical nature. Since the position involves customer visits and driving sales, we see that you have previously worked in a similar role with good results.
As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and service-minded. You are socially confident and secure in your competence and are good at listening. Your customers have different levels of knowledge when it comes to construction machinery and industrial-related vehicles, so it is important that you have the ability to communicate at a level that adapts to the customer. Since you will be working independently, you enjoy working individually, even though you are part of a team with people in the same role in other locations. Additionally, you are results-oriented and willing to develop in your profession; there are good development opportunities within the company.
