About the role of Support Assistant

As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.

We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for the users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create security and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the resources and budget of the organization.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Experience in healthcare and social services.
• High school education such as child and leisure program, health and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogy, social pedagogy, or university education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-arousal responses.
• Worked with complex support needs.
• Experience in psychiatry.
• Experience with challenging behavior.

Employment type: hourly substitute  Working hours: hourly substitute Start date: By agreement, we look positively on if you can start shortly. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Industry E.
