About the Role We are looking for an experienced accountant for a direct hire with a client for about 2 days a week. The role involves independently managing the entire finance function from start to finish. You will be responsible for accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, as well as reporting, taxes, and VAT. You will be the only accountant in the organization, thus having a central and independent role.
Responsibilities
- Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Payroll administration - VAT and tax declarations - Prepare interim reports and materials for year-end closing - Drive improvements in processes and routines - Work in Fortnox
Qualifications
- Several years of experience as an accountant - Used to working independently with overall responsibility for accounting - Good knowledge of Fortnox or similar accounting systems - Experience with payroll, taxes, and VAT - Detail-oriented, structured, and self-driven
