In Gothenburg City, employees report absences and other deviations themselves in the payroll system Personec self-service.

A large part of the payroll work takes place in the city's administrations and companies where administrators register employments, input schedules, and the manager approves employments, absence records, expenses, etc.

The Payroll Unit at Intraservice consists of about 40 employees. Within the unit, we have three teams of payroll consultants who work centrally with payroll by conducting ongoing checks to prevent incorrect payroll payments for the city's employees and managers. A large part of the work consists of quality assurance and correction of payroll issues. Payroll work is done through cases in our case management system ServiceNow, where we provide feedback to the customer. By the term customer, we mean administrators and managers in Gothenburg City's administrations and companies. Our mission also includes participating in various competency groups, developing our internal working methods, and contributing to the development of the payroll administrative process.

About You

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma along with either vocational training focused on payroll or several years of professional experience in qualified payroll administration that we assess as equivalent. You need to have at least a few years of practical experience in payroll administration, which requires knowledge of laws and agreements related to the payroll area. You also need to have a good understanding of the collective agreement, General Terms (AB).

It is meritorious if you have experience working:

• in the payroll system Personec
• with payroll in public operations
• with payroll for seasonal employees.

To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong communicative and quality-conscious disposition, as handling cases and providing feedback to our customers requires that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing. In this role, you also need to be skilled at collaborating with others, both within our unit as well as within Gothenburg City at large, while being solution-oriented.
