Description
The Urban Environment Administration has overall responsibility for the city's public spaces and collective accessibility.
We work to create accessible, attractive, and vibrant urban environments and natural areas. Approximately 900 people work in the administration.
The Urban Environment Administration is part of the urban development administrations in the City of Gothenburg. Together, we work to create conditions for a functioning infrastructure, quality housing and premises, an inviting public environment, and strive for the city to be sustainable from all perspectives.
The Unit for Leases and Agreements is one of five within the Department of Outdoor Environments and Urban Life, consisting of 15 employees who work with traffic coordination at events, leases, and agreements regarding the city's land as well as land investigations. We strive for a positive and unpretentious culture where it is easy to raise questions, get help, and collaborate.
Job Responsibilities
Do you want an exciting and varied assignment that contributes to accessible, attractive, and vibrant urban environments and natural areas?
We are now looking for an officer in land investigation at the Urban Environment Administration. You will function as an investigative and advisory role in matters concerning the use of the city's land. This includes driving cases of illegal land use, conducting suitability assessments for contract inquiries, negotiating contract terms, and establishing various forms of lease agreements. You will also be responsible for control prior to invoicing and follow-up of the agreements. The work involves daily contact with the public, other administrations, companies, and various authorities.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant higher education in property law or equivalent experience deemed comparable by the employer.
- Several years of work experience
- Class B driver's license
The position requires you to be socially confident, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is curious, structured, and solution-oriented. You appreciate working together with others but also have the ability to take responsibility for your own matters and drive them forward.
Meritorious
- Several years of experience working with property law issues, contract writing, and illegal land use
- Familiarity with using geographic information systems as a work tool
